/ C O L O U R / We are all for colour. Colour is life (specially when the old Adelaide town has been painted matte black, bokara grey and vivid white… sound familiar?) Whilst tone are essential for design we still need hues/colour to lift your liveable space. Creativity is for the BOLD and you can’t be bold without colour! / T H E M E / The theme of a home or space is of utmost importance to collecting items for that space. Many of us aren’t just a one style sort of person so we tend to collect objects, artworks or architectural features that appeal to our core personality. Now that’s the go when we are collecting clothing or jewellery but when it come to creating spatial peace or ambience a theme is what will turn a building she’ll into a home that feels comfortable. Take for example the simple sketch we’ve started with. My theme is based on 3 things, 1) brassed items, 2) use of line to create form, and finally 3) white. Let’s see this in real life - Swipe right! / U S / I’m Paul and I’m Jessica. Who are we? Designers, husband and wife, a son & daughter, a brother, a sister. We are both children of men in the building industry. Mark (Jessie’s Dad ) is a builder in VIC whilst Charlie (who started this particular business in 1964) was a engineering draftsman turned architectural. These men have guided us through our time to help us understand the construction side of all our projects. We have worked alongside Mark in many commercial projects including such projects as WesTrac NSW Mining Head Office in Tomago, UNSW Sydney, and the Canberra Contemporary ArtSpace building.
